Join us in honoring Texas Fibroids Awareness Month through a powerful community forum focused on educating Black and Brown women about fibroids, reproductive health, and the importance of financial planning for care.
 
Join us for the Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute’s 2025 Self-Care Community Forum Series — a space for Black women across Texas to rest, reset, and rise.
In partnership with the Afrocentric Communiversity, Her Womb Wellness and the Fibroid Institute of Texas, we’re creating free, healing-centered gatherings that focus on wellness, reproductive health, and the real-life impact of fibroids—especially on Black women. These forums aren’t just conversations—they’re community care in action.
 
We’re collecting donations of pads, tampons, and menstrual cups to support students and women at Title I schools, shelters, and community pantries.
