We simply ask that each guest bring a donation of organic period pads or feminine wipes listed on the flyer.
 
Monetary donations are also welcome and deeply appreciated as we continue our mission of providing clean, non-toxic feminine care products to girls and women in underserved communities.

About the Event
 
Join us as we honor Fibroids Awareness Month in Texas with a powerful community forum focused on educating Black and Brown women about fibroids, reproductive wellness, holistic healing options, and the importance of financial preparation for care and treatment.
 
This special gathering is hosted by Her Womb Wellness in partnership with the  Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute as part of the 2026 Self-Care Community Forum Series.
Together, we are creating intentional spaces for women across Texas to rest, reset, reconnect, and rise.
We are also honored to have the Fibroid Institute as a major sponsor and supporter of this impactful experience.

These gatherings are designed to address the real-life impact fibroids have on women, families, mental health, relationships, finances, and overall quality of life, especially within Black communities where fibroids disproportionately affect women.
This is not just another panel discussion.
This is education.
This is advocacy.
This is healing-centered community care in action.

Menstrual cups
Feminine hygiene products
 
All donated items will be distributed to schools, shelters, and community pantries to support women and girls in need.
